Holy Week

Honoring Cesar Chavez
The Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice of San Diego County honors the Legacy of Cesar Chavez & celebrates the unity of the faith and labor communities!

Voices for Justice
To celebrate a deep solidarity and to honor leaders from our faith communities who use their voices to promote justice in San Diego County, ICWJ invites you to our Voices for Justice Annual Breakfast!

New Sanctuary Movement
The New Sanctuary Movement is a coalition of interfaith religious leaders and participating congregations, called by our faith to respond actively and publicly to the suffering of our immigrant brothers and sisters residing in the United States.

Labor in the Pulpits
On Labor Day Weekend, together we lift up our voices to make a difference in the lives of working families!

Serving Witness
Many workers choose to stand up and speak out on behalf of themselves and their co-workers, risking more than just their jobs. By serving witness to the testimony of workers in our community, faith leaders can honor their courageous lives.

Statement of Principles
Through our efforts we witness the major obstacles faced by those who are working full time and living in poverty; sustainable wages and healthcare benefits remain out of reach for too many working families in San Diego County. It is important that as faith leaders we take a stand on behalf of justice in the workplace.

San Diego Labor Seder
In a bi-annual celebration of the journey from oppression to justice through the Passover Seder ritual, we honor the workers and leaders dedicated to the Labor Movement and workplace justice.
